From new amenities to Marina development to include rental boat slips, Woodlake Country Club has laid out a Master Development Plan over a 5 year period. Below is a timeline of the phased approach to amenity development which include the opening of the Maples Course, Stay and Play condos, Driving range, Clubhouse with events and dining, as well as a fitness room and outdoor pickleball facility.

On May 28, 2026, Atlantic National Capital (ANC), together with Woodlake Golf & Country Club, hosted an in-person community meeting and live-stream presentation to provide updates on the Woodlake Dam Rehabilitation Project, the return of the lake, future community amenities, and long-term planning initiatives. The presentation included updates on construction progress, project costs and funding, anticipated completion milestones, lake management and sustainability plans, the proposed Dock License Program, future marina and recreational concepts, membership structure updates, and the vision for the continued growth of the Woodlake community. The goal of the meeting was to provide residents, property owners, and Club members with detailed information, answer questions, and share next steps as the community prepares for the return of Lake Woodlake.

Master Plan Phasing

The transformation of Woodlake is well underway, with each completed project bringing new life and energy to the community. From the revitalization of The Maples Golf Course and Driving Range to enhanced dining, fitness, lodging, and recreational experiences, significant progress has already been made in creating a destination that members, residents, and guests can enjoy today. Looking ahead, future phases will continue to build on that progress with the restoration of the lake and marina, new waterfront amenities, expanded accommodations, residential opportunities, and additional spaces designed for gathering, recreation, and connection. Together, these investments are helping shape the next chapter of Woodlake while honoring the character and natural beauty that make it such a special place.
